Heath’s 27 points lead Badger

Marcus Heath fired in 27 points to lead the Badger High boys basketball team past Mathews 63-59 in a Northeastern Athletic Conference game on Friday.

Jeff Ashcroft and Russ Armstrong each added 14 points to aid Badger (3-5, 2-3 NAC).

Corey Lumley scored 25 points, including six 3-point goals, to lead Mathews, while Chris Morgan contributed 15 points and 14 rebounds.
