Grief Recovery support groups plan meeting

HUBBARD — The Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, 709 N. Main St., has scheduled an organizational meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday for the 38th series of Grief Recovery Instructional Support Groups.

Participation is not limited to those families served by the funeral home, but are open to anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one.

Meetings will be twice a month at the Home Care Center, adjacent to the funeral home, and Philip Roland, a trained pastoral counselor, will lead discussions.

Upon completion of the 10-week program, participants will be able to enter a secondary group, in which they will learn how to rebuild their lives over a long period of time. Facilitators will be Mary Jean Hunt, registered nurse, and Yvonne Hassell.
