Bowker’s 35 points lead Crestview girls to win

COLUMBIANA — Chelsea Bowker poured in 35 points, including six 3-point goals, to lead the Crestview High girls basketball team to a 63-59 win over Columbiana on Friday.

Marissa Newbauer added 14 points for the Rebels (9-2, 4-1 Inter Tri-County League Tier One).

Katie Witmer recorded 20 points to lead Columbiana (7-4, 3-2 ITCL1), while Ashley Shea had 13 and Hayley Goist 10.

Canton GlenOak 62, Fitch 46

AUSTINTOWN — GlenOak (4-9, 1-2) built a 44-38 lead by the end of the third quarter in the Federal League game.

Katie Cappello, Angie Osborne and Ashley Ringer scored 17, 15 and 12 points respectively.

Mariah Snowden led the Falcons (3-6, 0-4) with 14 points. Sammie Rovnak added 12 and Marissa Mattozzi finished with 11.
