Jackson’s 22 points lead Lisbon
LISBON — Mindy Jackson scored 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the Lisbon High girls basketball team, which stayed unbeaten with a 49-31 win over Mineral Ridge on Thursday.
Megan Reynolds added 10 points and five assists for the Blue Devils (9-0, 5-0 Inter Tri-County League Tier One), who ran out to a 15-4 first quarter lead.
Abby Riffee and Megan Ben each had seven points and five rebounds for the Rams (2-7, 1-4).
South Range 57, Springfield 50
NEW MIDDLETOWN — Patty Schuster scored 14 points and the Raiders got scoring from 10 different players in the win.
South Range (7-4, 2-3 ITCL1) outscored Springfield 20-11 in the fourth quarter. Andria Lyons and Rachael Kennedy each had 13 points for the Tigers (4-6, 1-4).
United 40, East Palestine 35
EAST PALESTINE — Maggie Sell poured in 19 points, including five 3-point goals, to lead United (10-1, 4-1 ITCL1). Sell also had three assists and three steals.
Bre Hull had 16 points for East Palestine (2-7, 0-5 ITCL1). Kali George grabbed seven rebounds for the Bulldogs while Becky Bollinger had five assists.
Western Reserve 52, Leetonia 29
BERLIN CENTER — The Blue Devils (5-6, 4-1 ITCL2) pulled away from a close game with a 17-3 surge in the third quarter.
Melissa Burky paced Western Reserve with nine points. Tori Korda grabbed nine rebounds.
Lynsie Davis led the Bears (4-6, 2-3) with seven points and Clarissa Perkins pulled down six rebounds.
Sebring 57, Jackson-Milton 35
SEBRING — Jill Brag had 16 points and 11 rebounds, Maggie Householder had six points and nine rebounds and Emily Dickens had six points, four assists and four steals for the Trojans (5-5, 2-3 ITCL2).
Alyssa Chine scored 22 points for the Bluejays (0-10, 0-5).
Wellsville 75, Southern 54
WELLSVILLE — P.J. Williams, Lindsey Koontz and Mikyla Tipton each scored 14 points to lead Wellsville.
Emily Smith scored 18 for Southern.
Campbell 42, Warren JFK 31
WARREN — Jayaira Grhim scored 12 points to spark Campbell (7-2), which made 19 of 42 from the field.
The Red Devils took a 32-27 lead into the final quarter, where they outscored the Eagles, 10-4.
Paige Klaric had 11 points to lead JFK (5-6).
Lordstown 41, Southington 40
SOUTHINGTON — Brianna Blodgett scored 19 points as Lordstown held off Southington in overtime, after a 35-35 regulation tie.
Ashley Dietz had 12 points for Southington.
