First major snow storm of the season tonight?

The National Weather Service is forecasting a snowy weekend for the Valley.

Today's snow flurries should give way to steadier snow overnight with 1 to 3 inches of snow expected. On Saturday, there is a 70 percent chance of more snow with snowfall rates of an inch or more per hour at times and an additional accumulation of 4 to 6 inches.

Temperatures each day are expected to remain in the 20's.
