Tolls have gone up 25 percent for cars and trucks that use the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Following is a list of how much it had cost, and how much it costs now, for a car that enters the turnpike at its first toll plaza in Warrendale, Pa. Cars that enter at the Ohio line are charged $3.75 (up from $3) in addition to tolls.

Pittsburgh: From $2 to $2.50.

Donegal (the Seven Springs exit): From $4 to $5.

Breezewood (For those traveling to Washington or Gettysburg): $8 to $10.

Philadelphia: $19 to $23.75.

Delaware River bridge (the end of the line): $19.75 to $24.70.

Tolls have also gone up 25 percent on Toll Road 60, which is also run by the state turnpike commission.

New Castle area residents who get on Route 60 at U.S. Route 422 will pay 65 cents, up from 50 cents, at the Mount Jackson exit, and $1.25, up from $1, at the North Mainline Toll Plaza. At every exit thereafter to Chippewa and at the South Mainline Toll Plaza, drivers pay 65 cents. From the Chippewa exit to the Pittsburgh International Airport, known as the Findlay Connector, tolls stay at 50 cents.
