Howland falls; unbeaten McDonald romps

HOWLAND — Lou Link scored 20 points and Gino Netorian netted 20 Wednesday to lead the West Geauga High boys basketball team to a 79-68 victory over Howland.

Kyle Spence led the Tigers (5-3) with 27 points. Jared Kirin contributed 20.

McDonald 90, Southern 36

McDONALD — Nicola Accordino led the Blue Devils’ balanced scoring attack with 15 points. Also in double figures for McDonald (7-0, 4-0 Inter Tri-County League Tier Two) were Lance Ronghi with 12, Justin Rota with 12 and Zach Puntel with 10.

Ethan Blatch and Jake Boyle led the Indians (5-3, 2-2) with 17 and 11 points, respectively.
