CANTON — Living at 4229 Rush Blvd., Youngstown, since their Oct. 4 wedding are Jason Savage and his bride, the former Bridgett Ford.

They were married in a 2:30 p.m. ceremony at St. Joan of Arc Church by the Rev. Norm Douglas, and a reception followed at Guy’s Party Centre in Akron.

The newlyweds honeymooned in St. Petersburg, Fla.

The bride’s strapless A-line gown of ivory satin was adorned with beading and crystal accents.

Wearing cranberry-colored gowns were the honor attendant, Alecia Ford, the bride’s sister, and bridesmaids Tiffany Lowers, Nikki Villella, Jennifer Rohrer and Melanie Kruger, cousin of the bride. Flower girl was Gianini Venuto, a cousin of the groom.

Brett Savage served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Drew Feucht, Bruce Budd, Chris Malackany and Aaron Lenartowicz, a cousin of the groom. Cameron Kruger, a cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.

The bride, a daughter of Ellen Ford, 250 Hayes Ave. N.E., Massillon, and the late Ken Ford, earned a bachelor’s degree in interpersonal communications at Kent State University. She is an income development coordinator for the American Cancer Society in Canfield.

The groom, a son of Steve and Cindy Savage, 982 Brockton N.W., Massillon, graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in criminal justice. He is an account manager for TruGreen in Youngstown.
