More reservists will deploy Friday

VIENNA — Approximately 85 Air Force Reservists from the 910th Airlift Wing are scheduled to deploy Friday morning to Southwest Asia for up to 120 days in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.

The reservists are air crew and aircraft maintenance personnel assigned to the 910th at the Youngstown Air Reserve Station. When deployed, they will be assigned to the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing. The last major airlift deployment was July 2005.

The primary mission of the 910th Airlift Wing is to deliver personnel and cargo by airdrop and air land techniques.
