Pavlik fight tickets go on sale Saturday

Top Rank Inc. has confirmed that tickets for Kelly Pavlik’s middleweight title defense against Marco Antonio Rubio will go on sale Saturday.

Tickets for the fight, which will be Feb. 21 at the Chevrolet Centre, will range from $50-$500.

Information, such as phone numbers to order tickets, when sales will begin, and sites of ticket sales will be announced later in the week.

Additionally, pay-per-view packages will be available for the fight; expected cost is $44.95.

There will be six fights on the Pavlik-Rubio undercard, then the WBO welterweight title fight between Miguel Angel Cotto and Michael Jennings will be shown on the big screens at the Chevrolet Centre, starting shortly after 10 p.m.

The Pavlik fight will begin at approximately 11 p.m.
