AUSTINTOWN — Vows were exchanged at 2 p.m. June 28 in the presence of the Rev. Stephen Popovich by Cara Marie King, daughter of Paul and Rosemarie King, 147 Fair Meadow Drive, and Andrew James Krofta, 141 Fair Meadow Drive, a son of Mary Krofta, 3898 E. 57th St., Cleveland, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.
After a reception at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Hall, Youngstown, the couple left for Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. They live at the groom’s address.
The bride’s strapless A-line gown had a sweetheart neckline and chapel train, and was adorned with Swarovski crystals and platinum embroidery.
Maria Patton, the honor attendant, and Georgiann Caruso, Kami Kooyman, and the groom’s sister, Sarah Modic, wore coral colored gowns. Flower girl was Jasmine Pasillas.
Serving as best man was Nathaniel Keel, and groomsmen were Brian King, a brother of the bride; Hilario Pasillas; and Ed Modic, the groom’s brother-in-law. Junior groomsman was the bride’s son, Brenden King, and ring bearer was Brandon Strickland, a cousin of the bride.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, the bride is in customer service at Things Remembered Fulfillment Center, North Jackson.
The groom served four years with the U.S. Navy and is a utility worker with Dominion East Ohio in Youngstown.
