Truth about Israel is AWOL

Truth about Israel is AWOL

EDITOR:

There is such a thing as a power outage, when the power goes out and you are left without electricity, without lights. But what happens when there is a truth outage? When the truth goes out and no one dares to tell the truth. That is what is happening with the massacre of Gaza.

A million and a half people are being crucified and the great media outlets dare not disclose the true magnitude of this horror. And, yes, I did say crucified, and I used that word deliberately because nothing else is strong enough to describe what is happening over there.

The missiles fly, the bombs explode, the whole population is forced to hide under a blanket of terror. Where can they hide? Their homes are demolished and the bombs can dig deep into tunnels and basements. In Vietnam, America carried out “carpet bombing,” where they destroyed every single living thing within a targeted area. What the Israelis are doing is carpet terrorism. An entire population is terrorized and starved. No, it is not apartheid. Apartheid never came close to this total cruelty. It is much worse. It is Nazism, pure and naked.

We are not supposed to say this. There is a secret law that prevails over the media. Don’t offend Israel. Let their every insanity go unquestioned lest you be accused of being anti-Semitic. If they drop millions of cluster bombs over fields and villages of Southern Lebanon where children can find them and be killed years after a conflict has ended, let them do it in secret lest the deed reflect poorly on them. They need secrecy to do their dark deeds. Some things should never be revealed to the general population. The less they know the better. We wouldn’t want to disturb their entertainment, or make them lose sleep because of a spasm of conscience. We are not here to report the Truth. We are here to shape the Truth, to make it conform to our own world view. In this world view, Israel is always good. It is always the victim. The Holocaust must never be forgotten and the Palestinians must pay the debt of its perpetrators.

Stop shifting blame to Israel

EDITOR:

In the last several day there have been Arab protests in this country against the attacks by Israel toward Hamas. Israel is a democracy that was founded in 1948 by the United Nations and the people of Israel have turned a wasteland into a paradise. Israel is about the only true democracy in the Middle East and it has very few allies there. America is about the only country in the world that backs Israel and they have constantly been at war with other countries in the Middle East or have had internal terrorist attacks on their soil.

Many in the Palestinian and Arab community do not want true peace with Israel but would rather just drive Israelis into the sea. Many of the Arab countries and Palestinian people have their own internal problems and use Israel as a simple scapegoat to turn attention away from their own problems. Sure Israel uses force when it is attacked. Who wouldn’t in any situation?

The question has arisen through the years of whether the United Nations forced Arab and Palestinian farmers off their land in order to start the state of Israel where it is located at now. That is long a subject of debate. But the state of Israel is there to stay and Israelis are not going anyplace. They occupy a small piece of land in the Middle East.

I also resent the fact that many Arab protests in this country are mocking us over the situation. Many Arab citizens have done very well in this country owning small businesses. Would many of the Arab citizens who live in this country and have a hatred for the Jews be able to protest against their own governments in their own countries in the Middle East?

People from various countries in the Middle East who hate Israel and the United States come here to start a business and get a top education. Start solving the problems in your own communities and countries and stop blaming Israel and the U.S. for everything.
