Woman killed; 4-year-old son left at rest area

DAYTON (AP) — A 4-year-old boy abandoned at a highway rest stop told police someone killed his mother, who was later found dead.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the driver of a car stolen from the woman’s Dayton area house, apparently Friday.

Vickie Nelson told the Dayton Daily News that police who arrived at her daughter’s house found another car, one that had been stolen from the house two weeks before Christmas.
