Mahoning Valley for Change is planning a service project and other activities in accordance with President-elect Barack Obama’s request for Americans to commit to volunteering. Time, date and site of the next session:

Who: Mahoning Valley for Change (formerly Mahoning Valley for Obama).

When: 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 24.

Where: Holy Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, 505 Parkcliff Ave., on Youngstown’s South Side.
