• A meeting of 1418 Auxiliary Seniors will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Oakview with John Texter presiding. • Retirees of Ajax Magethermic will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Station Square, 4250 Belmont Ave. Guests are welcome.

CANFIELD AARP

• Canfield AARP 3104 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at the Canfield Presbyterian Church. Blood pressure screening will take place from noon until the meeting. Dues will be collected at the meeting. The directors meeting will be at 10 a.m. Jan. 19 at the same church. The program will be installation of officers and reports from all of the committees.

HAPPY SENIORS

• The Cornersburg Happy Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at Blue Wolf Banquet and Catering on Tippecanoe Road, with Linda Wiland presiding. Dinner will be served at a cost of $11.50. Bingo will be played. Greeters will be Dorothy Wood and Carolyn Steiner. Illnesses should be reported to Eleanor Zuby at (330) 799-7127. New attendees are welcome. • Youngstown State University Retirees’ monthly breakfast will take place at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Denny’s restaurant on state Route 224 in Boardman. All retirees and their friends are welcome.

GIRARD SENIORS

• Girard Senior Citizens Club will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the center, 16, N. State St. January birthdays and anniversaries will be acknowledged. The program will be a short comical video, and dessert will be served.

LOWELLVILLE

• Lowellville Senior Citizens will meet for their monthly meeting Friday at noon in the Lowellville City Hall conference room. • Steelworker Retirees Local Union 1330 and 1331 will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at the Italian-American Veterans Centre, 113 S. Meridian Road. Refreshments will be served. New members are welcome.

ST, CHRISTINE

• St. Christine Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the parish Center, with President Ruth Infante presiding. Luncheon hostesses are Pauline Napolitano, Pat Hoffman, Marge Rogers, and Ann Deemer. Reports will be given by Carol McClain and Mary Jo Theis. January birthdays will be observed, there will be attendance prizes, a 50-50 raffle, and cards and bingo will be played.

ST. JOSEPH

• St. Joseph’s of Austintown Golden Agers meeting for Thursday has been canceled. Meetings will resume in February.

ST. NICHOLAS

• St. Nicholas Senior Citizens will meet for a luncheon at 11 a.m. Jan. 13 at the Father Petric Social Hall. Reservations are required and can be made until Wednesday.
