Police probe hit-and-run

WARREN — Township police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that seriously injured a woman about 1:50 p.m. Friday in the area of 1676 6th St.

The victim, whose name was not released, is a 21-year-old woman who was struck by a black male driver who has braids.

He was driving a dark-green box-type Chevrolet Astro van with silver trim and tinted windows.

Police said the vehicle will have damage to the headlight area on the passenger’s side.
