Warren YWCA will provide workshop on health-care careers

WARREN — Anyone interested in a career in health care is invited to attend a free health-care career workshop from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 13 at the YWCA, 375 N. Park Ave.

The workshop, presented by the Northeast Ohio HealthForce, will offer information on nursing, health information technology, laboratory and radiology technology, rehabilitative therapy, pharmacy technology and many other career paths.

Participants will be able to talk to health-care employers, educators and career pathway representatives during an hour-long breakout session. Information on financial aid also will be available. Preregister by calling (330) 675-7712.
