Man says three with guns attacked him on New Years

AUSTINTOWN — An attack at a party on New Year’s Day left one man injured.

The victim said he was at a party at Central Park West Apartments on New Hampshire Court when an altercation broke out just after midnight on Thursday. He told police three men pulled guns on him, and he was hit in the face by one of the weapons, chipping his tooth. The victim said he was then jumped and beaten by the men.

The victim’s friend said he witnessed the attack, but was unable to help because one of the attackers was pointing a gun at his face.

The victim said he sought medical attention to injuries including multiple rib fractures, lacerations to the head and face and injury to his left leg and hip. He told police he could only identify one of the men involved in the attack by name.
