WARREN — The ninth annual antique-motorcycle exhibition opens Saturday at the National Packard Museum, 1899 Mahoning Ave. Titled “Made in the USA,” it runs through May 31 and features 30 collectible motorcycles built in the United States between 1902 and 1982. The exhibition will include brands such as Harley-Davidson and Indian, as well as rare models such as Sylvester and Jones, Sears, Miami, Cleveland, Simplex and Aerothrust.
“Made in the USA” celebrates the motorcycle as an icon of American culture and will include information and interpretive materials on the manufacturers.
The show also includes a series of three lectures (Feb. 21, March 21 and April 18) on motorcycle restoration and preservation. Call (330) 394-1899 for more information.
Cleveland Orchestra plans MLK concert
CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Orchestra’s 29th annual concert in celebration of the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. will be at 7 p.m. Jan. 18 at Severance Hall, under the direction of Franz Welser-M ∂st.
The program will feature selections by Beethoven, Dvor °k, Ravel and Copland, as well as spirituals and gospel songs. Performing as violin soloist in this year’s celebration concert is Sphinx Competition prize winner Danielle Belen Nesmith. The Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Chorus and the Central State University Chorus, prepared by William Henry Caldwell, also will participate.

Contest seeks videos of best Steelers cheer
PITTSBURGH — VisitPittsburgh wants to see your best Steelers cheer. Send a video of you and your favorite fans performing your own Steelers fight song to steelerscontest@visitpittsburgh.com. Contestants will be judged in five categories: wardrobe, performance, content, musicality and originality. The winner will receive a Steelers jersey and an official Wilson Super Bowl XL game football.
Submissions must be entered by midnight Jan. 8. Include your name, e-mail address and phone number. Though videos can be tacky and wild, they must also be tasteful. The winner will be selected at 4 p.m. Jan. 9.
No studio videography will be considered. Contestants warrant that the video submission is original and that they are the sole owner and creator. Entries may not have been copyrighted or published previously in any media. Though contestants retain copyright and ownership of their work, all submissions become the property of VisitPittsburgh.
