Candidate in Struthers withdraws

STRUTHERS — John P. Sveda of Lakeshore Drive has withdrawn as a candidate for Struthers councilman-at-large in the May 5 Democratic primary.

That leaves four candidates, including the three incumbents, in the Democratic primary for the three at-large council seats.

The incumbents are Ronald Mathews of West Omar Street, Michael S. Patrick of Poland Avenue and Daniel R. Yemma of Center Street.

The other candidate is Edward L. Craft of McClure Street.
