COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Marissa Coleman scored a career-high 32 points, fellow senior Kristi Toliver added 27 for Maryland. Maryland (24-4, 11-2) moved into a first-place tie with Florida State in the Atlantic Coast Conference, and can clinch its first regular-season title in 20 years with a win in Sunday’s regular-season finale at Miami. The Terps have won eight straight. Toliver and Coleman combined to score Maryland’s first 30 points. They scored 58 in last Sunday’s 77-59 victory over then-No. 7 Duke. No other Terrapin had scored until Lynetta Kizer made a layup with 6:53 left in the half.
