Parents announce date for Smith, LaRocca wedding

The engagement of Carrie Smith, 197 Adelaide Ave. SE, Warren, and Pasquale LaRocca, 8645 Tippecanoe Road, Canfield, is being announced by their parents, Robert and Carolyn Smith, 142 Royal Troon, Warren, and John and Antonietta LaRocca, 2659 E. Middletown Road, Poland.

Also announced are plans for the couple’s open wedding, which will take place at 2 p.m. May 2 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, New Middletown, and their evening reception to be by invitation at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center in Youngstown.

Miss Smith graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is an assistant manager at Walgreens Co. in Warren.

Mr. LaRocca is a marketing manager with AVI Foodsystems Inc. in Warren. He graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and from the University of Akron with a master’s in marketing.
