Family, friends to mark woman’s 90th birthday

BOARDMAN — To celebrate Mary Wilson’s 90th birthday, her daughter Diana Short and granddaughter, Kim Deming, along with Kim’s husband, Dan Deming, are throwing a party.

On March 7, about 50 invited family members and friends will gather at Davidson’s in Cornersburg to mark the occasion.

Mrs. Wilson, who was born March 4, 1919, is known as “Buckeye Grandma” for the tasty buckeye candies she makes. She resides at 7352 West Blvd, Apt. 201 with her daughter Marjorie Wilson.

Her son, Bob Wilson, lives in McDonald, Ms. Short resides on the West Side, and the Demings live in Sandusky. Mrs. Wilson also has a grandson, Adam Wilson, who lives in Mineral Ridge with his mother, Peggy Wilson.
