Feb. 20

Drug abuse: Police arrested a 19-year-old Warren woman on a charge of drug abuse at West Main Street and Route 446 for possession of marijuana.

Drug abuse: A Campbell woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and drug possession at the BP gas station, 599 E. Main Street. Police found a syringe, two crack pipes and a syringe plunger in a purse and 61‚Ñ2 Ritalin pills in her purse, which had been reported stolen at the Colonial Motel, 15036 Alliance-Salem Road, where the woman said a man beat her up and then dropped her off at the BP.

Theft: An employee at Arby’s, 13 Talsman Drive, reported that someone had stolen grease out of their trash bin, which was placed there in a specially marked container. The grease was from the store fryers. The company that picks up the grease reimburses Arby’s for it, but told the restaurant that lately, although Arby’s usually averages 1,000 pounds per pickup, lately there has only been 300 to 450 pounds to pick up.

Feb. 22

Altercation: A woman called police to an address on Timber Run Drive and said that a group of youths were beating her son and that her husband got involved and he was bleeding from the head. Once police arrived, all parties had separated. The Canfield Joint Fire District also responded to look over injuries.

Feb. 16

Attempted theft: A window on an auto was broken, but nothing was taken at PTNE Telcom, 1112 N. Meridian Road.

Feb. 17

Telecommunications harassment: A woman was accused of making harassing phone calls to a home in the 100 block of DeHoff Drive.

Abandoned vehicles: Vehicles were towed to Carl’s Towing, 6704 Mahoning Ave., and never picked up by their owners.

Telecommunications harassment: An ex-boyfriend was calling and texting a woman in the 5000 block of Tulane Avenue.

Theft: A woman attempted to return articles that were stolen at Walgreens, 5501 Mahoning Ave., and fled the scene in a gray Mercury Sable.

Theft: A man is a suspect in the theft of several items, cash and a bicycle at a home in the 90 block of Westminister Avenue.

Telephone harassment: A woman was being harassed by phone calls from a man at a home in the 30 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.

Theft: $26.45 in gasoline was stolen at Unimart, 890 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Criminal damaging: Damage was reported to a chapel door at the 911 Memorial Park, 1055 S. Raccoon Road.

Feb. 18

Theft: Unauthorized charges were made on a debit account at National City Bank, 151 S. Meridian Road.

Theft: $20 in fuel was taken at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Theft: The jewelry counter was tampered with at J.C. Penney, and $2,799 worth of items were stolen.

Aggravated robbery: Two men entered Check-N-Go with a gun and took money from cash drawers and from the employee’s purse.

Theft: An 18-year-old male was arrested for theft at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: A Youngstown man was arrested for possession of Ecstasy at the Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Road.

Feb. 19

Theft: Thirteen traffic cones were reported stolen at Lloyd Elementary School, 5705 Norquest Blvd.

Telephone harassment: A woman was a victim of telephone harassment at a home in the 1000 block of Bexley Drive.

Theft: A Remington 870 Express shotgun was left at a residence in the 6000 block of Kirk Road and then apparently stolen and possibly pawned.

Fraud: Six unauthorized charges were made on a debit card at Farmers National Bank.

Fraud: Two unauthorized charges were made on a Home Savings and Loan card totaling $87.83.

Theft: A woman was arrested for theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Feb. 20

Burglary: A 32-inch Sony LCD television was taken from a home in the 10 block of South Edgehill Avenue.

Theft: A woman is a suspect in a theft at a home in the 5000 block of Bexley Street.

Assault: Students were assaulted by three females at Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were reported to an account at a home in the 3000 block of Rebecca Avenue.

Theft: A man was arrested for theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: An Austintown man was arrested on charges of drug abuse for possession of marijuana and contributing to the delinquency of a minor by allowing three male Youngstown teenagers in the car to smoke marijuana in the 4000 block of Pine Trace Drive.

Theft: Two teenage males were arrested and taken to the Juvenile Justice Center after stealing two motorcycles from a home in the 2000 block of North Redgate Lane.

Feb. 21

Drug possession: A Girard man fled police on state Route 46 and County Line Road and was charged with drug possession of Ecstasy and marijuana and drug paraphernalia, fleeing and eluding and resisting arrest.

Auto theft: A semi-truck/trailer was stolen from a lot at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: Jewelry was stolen from J.C. Penney, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Menacing: Phone threats were reported at a home in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Drive.

Feb. 22

Disorderly conduct: Two Youngstown female juveniles were arrested for fighting at the Skate Zone, 5420 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Jewelry was stolen at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle’s front windshield was damaged at Barry Dyngles, 1601 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A male fled with razor blades and over-the-counter drugs at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Telecommunications harassment: A man is accused of telecommunications harassment at a home in the 3000 block of Staatz Drive.

Criminal damaging: A passenger mirror was damaged on a vehicle at a home in the 1000 block of South Four Mile Run Road.
