Warren police investigating sexual assault allegations involving teen girls

WARREN — Police are investigating the alleged sexual assault of two teenage girls, one of whom said she was attacked inside Harding High School at 3 p.m. Friday.

A 15-year-old Warren girl told police she was sexually assaulted by two unidentified males, at least one of whom was a fellow student. The location inside the building was not included in a Warren police report.

The report says no weapon was used. The girl reported the assault Sunday morning, police said.

Lt. Gary Vingle of the Warren Police Department said no other information was being released.

Police also took a report late Sunday night from a Porter Street woman who reported that her 13-year-old daughter was sexually assaulted in a house across the street from the girl’s home at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

Sgt. Jeff Cole said the girl went to the house, perhaps looking for a cigarette, was assaulted by a male and released.
