Kelly Pavlik was not the only Valley fighter in the Chevrolet Center ring Saturday night.

Jake Giuriceo of Struthers made his professional debut as he took on Michael Suarez of Cleveland in a four-round super lightweight bout. Suarez, of Cleveland, was also making his pro debut. Others on the undercard included Mark Salser of Mansfield, Brian Camechis of Glouster, Damon Antoine of Akron, Willie Nelson of Cleveland and Andres Taylor of Johnstown, Pa.

In all, Chevy Center fight fans were treated to eight live bouts plus the video relay of the Miguel Cotto vs. Michael Jennings WBO welterweight title bout from New York’s Madison Square Garden.
