Ohio Northern 100, Mount Union 99, 2 OT

ALLIANCE — Ohio Northern made three 3-pointers as part of an 11-2 run over the final 2:44 of the game to win the Ohio Athletic Conference game. Chris Switzer scored 27 points to lead the Purple Raiders (12-13, 6-12), while Dave Pellerite added 25 and Luke Conley finished with 22, tying his career-high. The Polar Bears (17-8, 12-6) were led by Kyle Meyer’s 37 points. Kurtis Brown had 20 points and three 3-pointers in the second overtime, while Ezra Bradshaw and Sam Bastian each scored 11.

Bethany 74, Washington & Jefferson 65

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Lance Beckwith scored 34 points to lead the Bison in a Presidents’ Athletic Conference game. Beckwith also had seven rebounds, tying Joe Testa for team honors. Tyler Morando added 12 points for Bethany (15-10, 9-3), which led 32-29 at halftime. For W&J (16-9, 7-5), Brian Felker scored 18 points and Josip Lucic-Jozak scored 16.

Westminster 88, Geneva 80

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. — Ryne Murray came off the bench to record 26 points and 10 rebounds as Westminster (9-16) completed a season sweep of Geneva. Steve Bielich added 16 points for the Titans, while Anthony DeFelice (Poland) and David Richards (New Castle) both finished with 10. Richard Colick scored 20 points to lead the Golden Tornadoes (8-17), followed by Brandon Harvey with 15. Lambros Svingos and Dave Phillips scored 11 points each, and Svingos also had eight rebounds.

Hiram 70, Oberlin 52

HIRAM — Chris Roberts scored 18 points and had seven rebounds to lead Hiram in a North Coast Athletic Conference game. Glenn Campbell added 11 points for the Terriers (16-9, 11-5), who led 34-29 at halftime. Andrew Wiegand and Ian Pfouts added 10 points each for Hiram. Jordan Beard scored 21 points to lead Oberlin (5-20, 2-14). Josh Merritt and Ryan Magiera finished with 11 points each.

WOMEN

Mount Union 70, Ohio Northern 67

ADA — Tessa Pohovey scored a game-high 22 points and added nine rebounds as Mount Union secured a home game in the OAC tournament. Amanda Rose and Katie Crider added 10 points each for the Purple Raiders (16-8, 11-7), who trailed 34-28 at halftime. Alisha Rinehart scored 18 points to lead Ohio Northern (9-16, 7-11) and in the process became the school’s all-time leading scorer.

Westminster 64, Geneva 56

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. — Senior Gina Brunetti (Mooney) scored 22 points in her final home game to lead the Titans (8-16), who will play at Washington & Jefferson in the first round of the PAC tournament. Freshman Emily Dolsak scored 18 points for Westminster, tying her career high. Valerie Hamilton scored 16 points to lead Geneva (9-15), while Rachel Berry scored 13 and Michawn Rich finished with 12.

Ohio Wesleyan 64, Hiram 55

HIRAM — Pamela Spencer scored 18 points to lead Hiram, but was the only Terrier (7-18, 5-11) player in double figures in the NCAC game. Katie Hamilton led Ohio Wesleyan (14-11, 10-6) with 16 points, while Pam Quigney and Tyler Cordell scored 12 apiece.
