BOARDMAN — Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic was the honeymoon destination of Vincent Bounds and his bride, the former Kristen Hall, following their 3:30 p.m. Jan. 3 wedding at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park and reception afterward at Avion on the Water in Canfield.

The Rev. Brittany Barber of Chicago officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hall, 5824 Watson Road, Hubbard, and son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard V. Bounds III, 1800 Stage Road, Durham, N.C.

The bride’s strapless white silk satin gown featured a beaded bodice and a semicathedral train.

Wearing royal blue gowns were the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Ashley Evans of McDonald, and the bridesmaid, Kristin Bounds of Charlotte, N.C., a sister of the groom. Flower girls were the bride’s cousins, Haylee and Rory Hogan of Pittsburgh.

Brett Bounds of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., was best man for his brother, and groomsman was Anthony Barkley of Raleigh, N.C. Guests were ushered by the bride’s brother-in-law, Jamey Evans of McDonald.

Mrs. Bounds graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in education. She is a chemist with Enthalpy Analytical in Durham.

Mr. Bounds is a logistics analyst with Sprint Nextel in Cary, N.C. He attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh and graduated from the American European Massage Clinic in Raleigh. They live in Raleigh.
