ALLISON PARK, Pa. — St. Catherine of Sweden Church was the setting at 2 p.m. Aug. 9 as nuptial vows were exchanged by Karlene DuBois and Michael Allen, both of 2815 Shetland Place.
The Rev. Regis Farmer officiated at the wedding for the daughter of Pete and Kathy DuBois, 421 Wyndclift Place, Austintown, and the son of Rich and Kathy Allen, 117 Margate Manor, Butler, Pa.
The couple accepted congratulations at the Sheraton at Station Square in Pittsburgh before leaving on a wedding trip to the Hawaiian Island of Maui. They live in Pittsburgh.
The bride’s strapless ivory gown featured a beaded bodice, pickups, and an organza overlay.
Rose pink gowns were worn by the honor attendants, Alison DuBois and Shannon Sefcik, and the bridesmaids, Megan Allen, Zoe DuBois, Megan McGraw, Amy Hoover, Abby Zarych, and Amanda McDougal.
Best men were Bill Barbary and Dan Carinci, and groomsmen were Mike DuBois, Pat DuBois, Kurt Keefer, Rick Hoover, and John Kaminski. Ring bearers were Mike, Matt and Jack DuBois.
Mrs. Allen is a physical therapist with Fox Chapel Physical Therapy in Pittsburgh. She graduated from Kent State University and Slippery Rock University, and holds a bachelor of science degree and a doctorate in physical therapy.
Mr. Allen earned a bachelor of science and a doctorate in physical therapy from Slippery Rock University. He is a physical therapist with Tri-State Rehab in Pittsburgh.
