COLUMBIANA — Julianne Lin Oliver of West Columbia, S.C., and Johnny Jomont Ware of Columbia, S.C., were united in marriage by the Rev. Thomas Ziegler at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 11 at St. Jude Church.

After a reception at the Holiday Inn, Boardman, the daughter of Thomas and Brenda Oliver of North Lima, and son of Johnny Lay and Tracy Ware of Georgia, left for a honeymoon at Key West. They live in Lexington, S.C.

The bride’s A-line gown was enhanced with multicolored lace and featured a V-neckline.

Honor attendant, Brittany Oliver, wore a meadow green gown, and similar gowns were worn by the bridesmaids, Courtney Smith, Jakea Ware, and Emily Gordon. Flower girls were Haley Smith and Kylie Smith.

Rob Neal was best man, and groomsmen were Nashard Underwood, Larry McKenzie, and Dana Vinson. Ring bearer was Jazzen Nelson.

The bride graduated from Ohio University in Athens and from the University of South Carolina, where she is pursuing a doctorate in education in language and literacy. She is a high school English educator and assistant volleyball coach at Lexington High School in South Carolina.

The groom earned an associate degree in surgical technology from Dalton State College and is a special education instructional assistant and assistant varsity football coach at Blythewood High School. He is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education in Columbia.
