2 arrested on drug charges


YOUNGSTOWN — A stolen gun was found and two men were arrested on drug charges after police checked out two cars that had backed into a convenience store parking lot on Wick Avenue, reports show.

The arrests were made around 7 p.m. Thursday. James Moore, 25, of Ohio Avenue, was charged with possession of cocaine, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property (gun). Police said the revolver was reported stolen in Kinsman in 2004.

Ryan Wallace, 20, of Ohio Avenue, was charged with possession of cocaine. Police said Moore had 32 packaged bags of powdered cocaine and Wallace had a medium-sized bag of crack cocaine.

Both were arraigned Friday in municipal court. Moore posted his $25,000 bond, and Wallace posted his $3,500 bond.
