Weathersfield schools hire coaches

MINERAL RIDGE —The Weathersfield school board Wednesday hired the following coaches: Sam Raketa, ninth grade basketball; Shawn Brown, seventh and eighth grade girls track and seventh and eighth grade football; Rod Hice, assistant varsity football coach; Phillip Frye, ninth grade football coach; Ryan Monti, student volunteer athletic trainer; and Tim Persin, volunteer varsity assistant football coach.
