Meeting tonight on Web-based learning

BOARDMAN — Parents and guardians of gifted and honors pupils in the Youngstown city schools are invited to an informational meeting tonight on a Web-based learning system that their children can access at home.

The program, known as renzullilearning.com, provides an Internet link that kids can work on outside of school, said Maria Pappas, principal of Paul C. Bunn Elementary School and administrator of the gifted and honors program in the district.

The informational session is set for 7 p.m. at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in The Shops at Boardman Park, 381 Boardman-Poland Road. For more details, call Pappas at (330) 744-5847.
