Creative poster could land you tickets to Pavlik-Rubio fight

YOUNGSTOWN — Team Pavlik is encouraging Youngstown to show its creative side.

Fans are encouraged to come out Friday to the Chevrolet Center for the prefight weigh-in between WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik and Marco Antonio Rubio.

To show support for the hometown hero, Team Pavlik has announced a poster contest.

Fans of all ages are urged to make posters showing their support of Pavlik. Team Pavlik will then select someone out of the crowd with the best poster. That lucky fan will receive a pair of tickets for Saturday’s fight.

The doors open at noon. The weigh-in is at 1 p.m.
