Cook-off and auction

NEW WATERFORD —A chili cook-off and a silent auction have been scheduled for Saturday at New Waterford United Methodist Church, 46925 S. State St. The event will be from 5 to 7 p.m., and donations will be used for the building fund.

There will be regular and hot versions of the chili. Ten entries will be available for sampling. County commissioners will serve as cook-off judges. For more information call the church, (330) 457-7436.
