Feb. 12
Breaking and entering: Someone broke a lock to an apartment in the 100 block of Lemans Drive aand stole a snowblower.
Criminal damaging: A Carter Circle man discovered his vehicle’s driver’s-side window was broken and a dent was near the rear quarter panel.
Aggravated menacing: A Meadowbrook Avenue man told police another man threatened to kill him.
Assault: A Boardman woman reported her 13-year-old son was punched while at Boardman Center Middle School, 7410 Market St.
Theft: A woman found out numerous pieces of jewelry were missing from her home in the 5700 block of Glenwood Avenue.
Attempted breaking and entering: Someone used a screwdriver in an effort to break into four coin boxes at St. Charles Church, 7345 Westview Drive.
Domestic violence: A 14-year-old township boy was charged after a family member alleged that he hit her.
Vandalism: A worker for Four Wheels Vehicles, 5925 South Ave., found damage to two windows and a door on a car.
Domestic violence: A Youngstown man, 18, was charged after police said they determined an Applecrest Court woman’s jaw had been bitten during an argument.
Theft: A 17-year-old Youngstown boy faced charges of theft and receiving stolen property after being accused of stealing a $60 bracelet from Sears and having two wristwatches that had been taken from the J.C. Penney store, both in the Southern Park Mall.
Theft: Two Youngstown females, 17 and 19, were accused in the theft of $382 worth of clothing from Sears in the Southern Park Mall.
Robbery: Authorities arrested a 30-year-old Pittsburgh woman at the Allegheny County Jail on a charge of aggravated robbery after a December incident in which a Youngstown man reported having been robbed at a Market Street motel. The woman tricked the accuser into entering her room, where a gunman struck the man several times and stole $400, a cell phone and a gold chain, a report showed.

Criminal damaging: A Glenwood Avenue woman discovered a scratch on her vehicle and her child’s tricycle broken.
Theft/criminal damaging: A Campbell man in the 7000 block of Tiffany Boulevard noticed scratches on his car’s roof and an item missing.
Arrest: A traffic stop on Market Street led to a 23-year-old Youngstown man’s being charged with obstructing official business when, police said, he crashed his vehicle after having led them on a pursuit, then provided false information. The man also was wanted on probation and parole violations.
Arrest: Police responded to a fight in the 5600 block of South Avenue, where they charged a Boardman man, 55, with disorderly conduct and obstructing official business. The intoxicated man was loud and disruptive and refused to desist, a report said.
Burglary: A man saw that someone had entered his residence in the 7000 block of Trenholm Road via a rear door and stole a laptop computer and $185.
Theft: A temporary tag was stolen off a car at a South Avenue eatery.
Attempted burglary: Someone tried to break into a man’s apartment in the 5700 block of Sheridan Road, damaging a door’s molding.
Assault: A Shields Road woman alleged her former boyfriend grabbed and choked her after she asked him to leave.
Theft: A Youngstown boy, 16, was charged in the theft of $189 worth of cologne from Sears.
Theft: Twenty Xbox video games valued at a total of $1,000 were stolen from Toys “R” Us, 317 Boardman-Poland Road.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle at a Boardman-Poland Road business sustained a small dent to its passenger side as well as damage to several door panels.
Feb. 14
Theft: Two boys, 15 and 16, and an 18-year-old man, all of Youngstown, were charged in the theft of a $20 wristwatch from Sears. The boys also were charged with complicity to theft; the man also faced a menacing charge, accused of threatening an officer.
Theft: A Moyer Avenue man reported the theft of a $50 tool pouch from his vehicle.
Robbery: A worker for Big Lots, 7110 South Ave., told officers a woman in her 50s took $35 worth of merchandise into a restroom, then pushed the employee and fled after being confronted.
Theft: A $1,500 diamond engagement ring was stolen from Direct Jewelry Outlet, 1235 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Theft: A Hillman Way woman’s purse was removed from her car.
Identity theft: A Hickory Hill Drive man found out his personal information had been used to make a fraudulent $25 charge that appeared on his phone bill.
