Robber takes wallet from Struthers man

AUSTINTOWN — A Struthers man told police he was robbed of his wallet at gunpoint at a North Canfield-Niles Road gas station.

The 48-year-old victim told police that he was checking his truck about 4:20 a.m. Saturday at the Pilot Truck Lot when a man with a knife approached him and demanded his wallet and cell phone.

The victim gave the robber his wallet, and the man fled through the parking lot followed by a woman.

Police checked the area but didn’t find the robber.
