Emery leads Cardinals to hockey win

KENT — Riley Emery scored three goals to lead the Canfield High ice hockey team to Tuesday’s 4-2 tournament victory over Cleveland Heights at the Kent State University Ice Arena.

Scott Sittig scored the Cardinals’ other goal, assisted by Emery.

Dan Johns had three assists while goaltender Joe Geiser made 33 saves.

For Cleveland Heights, Jordan Shoger and Samuel Brown scored. Olof Jansson made two assists while Tyle Rudy and Chris Zirm had one each. Liam Robinson made 16 stops in net.
