Trumbull Mobile Meals plans Mayors For Meals

WARREN — Trumbull Mobile Meals has planned Mayors For Meals Day on March 18 as part of its March For Meals campaign. Mayors who will participate in the event, to show support for home-delivered meals in their communities, are Warren Mayor Michael O’Brien, Niles Mayor Ralph Infante, Girard Mayor James Melfi, and Cortland Mayor Curt Moll.

On Mayors For Meals Day, the mayors will deliver meals in their areas.

March For Meals is a national campaign initiated by the Meals On Wheels Association of America to raise awareness of adult hunger.

A March For Meals Walk will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 9:15 am. March 21 at the Eastwood Mall. Also, collection canisters are available to be placed in businesses during March. Those willing to have a canister in their business should call the Mobile Meals office at (330) 394-2538.
