Federal Credit Union plans annual meeting

STRUTHERS — The Struthers Federal Credit Union will have its 49th annual meeting March 14. A social time will begin at 6 p.m. with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. Election of officers will occur at 7:15 p.m. All members of the credit union are invited. Tickets are available at the credit union, 964 Fifth St., for $12.

First Place Insurance acquires GRM Insurance

WARREN — First Place Insurance, an affiliate of First Place Financial Corp., has acquired GRM Insurance in Niles. GRM started in 1954 as Guerra Insurance. Over the years, several mergers expanded the business, and GRM was formed in 2006.

“We look forward to offering GRM customers value-added services with the same personal touch that they have come to expect,” said Dan Landers, president of First Place Insurance.

Michael Guerra, president of GRM, said customers will see no changes to their policies.
