“Spectacular!” (8 p.m., Nickelodeon): A cash-strapped rocker faces his own ego in this musical-romantic comedy.

“Top Gear” (8 p.m., BBC America): Road trip! The hosts of “Top Gear” take three new-generation muscle cars on a journey from San Francisco to the salt flats of Utah. Something tells us they’ll be living life in the fast lane.

“Right America, Feeling Wronged” (8 p.m., HBO): This is the latest documentary from Alexandra Pelosi (Yes, she’s Nancy’s daughter). She crosses the country to ask conservative Americans about the new look of the nation’s government. For some, “change” is a dirty word.

“Stealing Lincoln’s Body” (9 p.m., History): The offenses against the body of Abraham Lincoln only started with his assassination in April 1865. For the next 36 years, the slain president’s body was repeatedly exhumed and moved, with his coffin frequently opened. But that’s not all. In 1876, a band of Chicago counterfeiters devised a plot to steal Lincoln’s body and hold it for $200,000 ransom. The scheme was foiled, but Lincoln’s body wasn’t given final rest until 1901, when his son, Robert Todd Lincoln, had him buried in his hometown of Springfield, Ill. The gripping, often macabre postscript to this president’s life is told in the History documentary “Stealing Lincoln’s Body.” The two-hour film is supplemented with digitally restored photographs and “virtual cinematography”: Lincoln appears in motion-picture clips that were digitally created from historical photographs.
