At AHEPA 89 apartments in Boardman, a retirement building, the residents got together to show their appreciation for veterans by making them valentines for Valentine’s Day. The nearly 50 valentines were sent to the veterans hospital in Cleveland. Many of the residents have spouses and siblings who served in wars. Those who shared the love are, from left, Ruth Dillon, Shirley Barnes, Mary Sloan, Barb Cook, Pauline Severino and Carmel Cusano. Others who participated but are not pictured are Lena Pilla and Sally Hall.
