Local topics on TV Sunday program

“Community Connection” (6:30 a.m., WFMJ Channel 21): “Community Connection” is spending the month of February recognizing black firsts in the Mahoning Valley, such as Glenn Holmes.

Holmes is the first black mayor of McDonald. He and his wife, Carol J. Holmes, talk with host Madonna Chism Pinkard about their dreams and aspirations for McDonald and the difference they will make in the community.

Tiffany Allen, also known as DJ T-Luv with JAMZ 101.9-FM, will talk about the upcoming Women of Color Expo on Feb. 21 at East High School. The event is free and open to the public.
