Beware ‘citizens of the world’
Beware ‘citizens of the world’
EDITOR:
A Feb. 8 letter to the editor discussed “our biggest problem.” The writer’s concern was the loss of our manufacturing base to China and other low-wage, no OSHA, non-union, sub-standard “emerging economies.” I couldn’t agree more.
An example is Ingersoll Milling Machine of Rockford, Ill., my hometown. It was once a world leader in milling machine production, and made many unique machining systems shipped all over the world. I communicated with the head of Ingersoll’s service department last year, and he voiced the concern that the machinists that are retiring are not being replaced, and that we as a country have essentially lost skilled tradesmen with no change in sight. A major part of Ingersoll was sold to a huge Chinese machine tool conglomerate a few years ago.
Is this part of the plan for a New World Order that our powerful, elite captains of industry are taking us to? Is the dumbing down of America also part of that plan, making us weaker and more dependent upon other countries? Members of the Council on Foreign Relations, Group of 30, Bilderberg Group, Trilateral Commission, and other billionaire “citizens of the world” are taking us down this path. Many of these elitists might reside in the USA, but these extremely wealthy and powerful people might as well live in another world, because the travails of the average American, Brazilian, Chinese, or Latvian mean absolutely nothing to them. Their wealth is deep, strong, well consolidated, well insulated, and minimally affected by national economies. Their goal is world socialism through control of the world’s economies.
Central banking, such as our Federal Reserve System, World Bank, and the European Central Bank, are a key component of the New World Order master plan. Regardless of the multiple causes of our current economic crisis, our Federal Reserve has never been able to prevent runs on banks, as it was intended to do when first formed. It can only respond to crises with bailouts and backup. Time to dump the Federal Reserve.
We need many major changes to return this country to its once prominent role as the “arsenal of Democracy” and leader in manufacturing. The Fair Tax would eliminate corporate and individual Federal Income Taxes, making manufacturing here more financially appealing and give all workers more money in their paychecks. We need to return “shop classes” to our schools to expose students to manufacturing skills. Revoking China’s “Most Favored Nation” status will help slow our trade deficit there. We need to do everything it takes to make “Made in USA” the most sought-after label in the world.
But wait, President Obama is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. So are Hillary and Bill Clinton, Timothy Geithner, Dick Cheney, Diane Feinstein, Alan Greenspan, the Rockefellers, George Soros, and Paul Volcker (and many other people in our government). These people are all driving this nation toward the New World Order and a global economy.

Save the church
EDITOR:
As I was married in Pilgrim Collegiate Church 35 years ago, the story about its possible demolition hit home.
Both my wife and I get wonderful feelings every time we ride by the church. It just makes us sad to see another beautiful building going down for a parking lot.
I know there is nothing anyone can do to stop this, it just seems like a waste
