Announcement is being made of the engagement of LaQuetta Carter and Kenneth Vaughn, both of Youngstown, and plans for their upcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Doris Day, 703 Clyde St., Youngstown, and Leonard Carter of Youngstown.

The future groom is a son of Saundra Vaughn, 151 East Warren, Youngstown.

The couple will be united in marriage during a 2:30 p.m. March 28 ceremony that will take place at World of God Fellowship. Following the wedding, a reception will be at Youngstown Dart Club.
