The weather continues to be a top story this morning throughout the Mahoning Valley.

The National Weather Service says a flood warning continues for the Mahoning River in Youngstown through this evening. Flood stage is 10.0 feet and at 5 a.m., the stage was at 10.2 feet and rising. The NWS says flooding can be expected in lowland areas including secondary roads.

Meanwhile, the high-wind warning continues through 10 a.m. with west winds from 25 to 35 mph and gusts between 55 and 60 mph.
