Gina Marinelli, Corey Mowen to wed in May

The engagement of Gina Marie Marinelli of Ellsworth and Corey James Mowen of Columbiana, and plans for their upcoming marriage, are being announced by parents of the bride-elect, Veronica McLaughlin of Austintown, and Ron Marinelli Sr. of Youngstown.

The future groom is a son of Deborah Smith of Farwell, Mich., and Roger Mowen of Columbiana.

Invitations will be issued for the wedding the couple have planned for 5 p.m. May 9 at The Links at Firestone Farms and for their reception immediately following the ceremony.

Miss Marinelli, a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service, graduated from Youngstown State University with degrees in psychology, biology and criminal justice.

Mr. Mowen is employed by General Motors and is pursuing a degree in electrical technology at New Castle School of Trades in Pennsylvania.
