F.N.B Corp. exec resigns, interim CEO named
HERMITAGE, Pa. — Bob New has resigned as president and chief executive of F.N.B. Corp., the parent company of First National Bank of Pennsylvania.
Stephen J. Gurgovits, F.N.B.. chairman, has been named interim chief executive. He previously was president and CEO before retiring last year.
Gurgovits said New and the board “mutually agreed to terminate their relationship.” No other details were announced.
The company said the board of directors intends to form a search committee at its meeting Wednesday.
