Ceramic art exhibition on display at Mount Union

ALLIANCE— An exhibition of ceramic pieces of art by Angelica Pozo and Donna Webb is on display at Mount Union College’s Crandall Gallery through March 3.

Pozo, a New York City native born of Cuban and Puerto Rican parents, has lived in Cleveland since 1984.

Webb, who teaches art at the Myers School of Art at the University of Akron, has had an impact on public buildings in Ohio through the mosaic installations she does with her collaborator, Joseph Blue Sky.

These works can be seen at the Ohio Central Psychiatric Hospital, Shawnee State University, Metro Health Hospital, Akron Children’s Hospital and the student union at the University of Akron.

Crandall Gallery is located at Simpson Street and Union Avenue between Cope Music Hall and Rodman Playhouse.

It is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 1 to 6 p.m.
