Ohio has created a Web site — www.recovery.ohio.gov — that provides information on the federal stimulus package.
The U.S. Senate approved its version Tuesday, and the House passed its bill last month. Leaders of both will meet shortly to reconcile their bills.
Entities wanting to receive federal stimulus money should submit information through a form on the site even if the proposals have already been submitted in some other way. Once a project is submitted, it will be entered into the state’s master database and forwarded to the appropriate state entity.
Once the bill is finalized, those who submitted forms regarding the projects that may meet eligibility requirements will receive an e-mail indicating where, when and how to apply for funds.
An option answering frequently asked questions will be posted to the Web site in the next few days.
